Nursing Student in Cambodia
As a nursing student, I choose to do one of my final year’s internship as a humanitarian one. I will go to Cambodia from the 2nd of September till the 10th of November 2024 with an association call Globalong. I will do this projet in Phnom Penh, Cambodia's capital city, in the hospital call " The Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital ». Most of my actions will be in gynecology and maternity unit but I will be able to go to other departments to discover and help where needed. I will also even go in some orphanage.
I chose Cambodia because I am very sensitive to their History. I already had the chance to traveled, lived and volunteered there. Today with my nursing training, I would like to help to give care and support to Cambodians.
With your help I will be able to make this project work.The funds raised with this online pot will help me finance it : train ticket Lorient/Paris and flight Paris/Phnom Penh (around 2000€), the way back home and the visa fee (150 €). To cover my life fee for the 10 weeks, I donate 2750€ to the association. I wish to bring some med stuff such as gear or drug, if possible depending on the donations, I could also take clothes and buy hygiene products and school supplies.
