English version:

Welcome to this solidarity fund to help Ana regain the mobility of her left knee and elbow!

Ana, following a fall 10 years ago, is affected by a bone ankylosis of the left elbow and an osteoarthrosis of the left knee at only 17 years old. Her mobility is significantly affected.

Ana was born and lives in Liberia, West Africa. A country that after 14 years of civil war and the world's deadliest Ebola epidemic has seen its medical resources collapse. This is where, working for an international medical organization, I was able to meet Ana's mother, Rebecca.

An incredibly dynamic woman, serving her community with fervor as a volunteer in medical outreach... while she herself unfortunately cannot get her daughter into surgery in Liberia.

But because nothing stops Rebecca, with the resources she was able to gather, she recently left with Ana to Ghana in the hope of being able to perform the necessary operations on her daughter. After several months in Ghana, the doctors were convinced that such operations could not be performed in Africa. It is necessary to leave... Europe and the USA are currently very difficult to access, so they will go to India where quality care also exists!

Once again, nothing stops Ana and Rebecca, although COVID-19 strikes hard. Once again, their family resources and the support of an NGO allowed them to collect enough money to pay for the plane tickets and the first operation in New Delhi... where they are now!

The Indian doctors have just told them that Ana needs a total replacement of her left elbow and corrective soft tissue surgery for her left knee to allow movement in both the elbow and the left knee.

And now the funding has almost run out...

So that Ana can finally live life to the fullest like all the other girls her age - besides that Ana graduated as second highest in her class from secondary school and has lots of friends! - I would like to succeed in gathering additional funds so that this crossing to the other side of the world, in the middle of the COVID madness, is not in vain for lack of means!

Ana, Rebecca and their family join me in thanking you in advance for your support!

Solidarity also can go around the world! 😊
